ASUENE Inc. is pleased to announce that we have been selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s Agency for Natural Resources and Energy’s FY2025 Subsidy Program for Offshore Wind Human Resource Development. Our initiatives will focus on cultivating business development, finance, and legal professionals to support the advancement of Japan’s offshore wind sector.

National Context and Program Details
Japan has positioned offshore wind as a core energy source, targeting 30–45 GW of capacity by 2040 under its Offshore Wind Industry Vision. However, the industry faces an urgent shortage of skilled professionals. The Subsidy Program for Offshore Wind Human Resource Development was established to address this gap. It supports private companies, educational institutions, and research organizations in designing and delivering training programs, as well as developing facilities for offshore operations and turbine maintenance.
By participating in this program, ASUENE will expand opportunities for new entrants and reinforce collaboration between companies, governments, and communities in building Japan’s clean energy future.
