ASUENE Inc. announces the appointment of SuetChee Chiong, Managing Director, Investments at Decarbonization Partners, to its Board of Directors as an Outside Director. Decarbonization Partners is a joint venture between BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, and Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore.
Decarbonization Partners served as the lead investor in ASUENE’s Series D financing round in July 2026. Following Chiong’s appointment, ASUENE’s Board will expand from four to five members. By drawing on Chiong’s expertise in global investing, business growth, and portfolio management, ASUENE will further strengthen its corporate governance and the Board’s oversight of its expanding global operations.

SuetChee Chiong is based in Singapore and serves as Managing Director, Investments at Decarbonization Partners, as well as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Chiong previously held investment roles at Temasek and brings more than 20 years of global investment experience across the energy, transportation and logistics, and industrial sectors. SuetChee holds a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy (First Class Honors) from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, an Executive Masters in Energy Management (Distinction) from ESCP Europe and is a CFA charterholder. |
