Asuene Inc. presented at the First Asia Zero Emission Community International Conference on
Developing Carbon Markets(AZEC-DCM), co-hosted by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade
and Industry and the Ministry of the Environment on May 19, 2025. We shared insights on key
challenges and practical solutions for measuring corporate GHG emissions and enabling
cross-border GHG accounting across the Asia-Pacific region.
Presentation Overview
The Company provides a cloud-based platform, “ASUENE,” along with consulting services to
support companies and municipalities in measuring, reducing, and reporting CO₂ emissions
across their entire supply chains (Scope 1–3). Our CO2 measuring service holds the No.1
adoption record in both Japan and Asia, supporting decarbonization efforts across a wide range
of industries and company sizes, from listed corporations to small and medium-sized
enterprises.
At the First AZEC-DCM International Conference on Developing Carbon Markets, co-hosted by
Japan’s METI and the MOE, the company presented the following topics as an example of a
private-sector solution contributing to carbon market development across the Asia-Pacific
region:

Through this presentation, Asuene demonstrated its practical, technology-based
approach—underpinned by reliability—can support corporate responses to increasing
international disclosure demands and contribute to strengthening industrial competitiveness
across the Asia-Pacific region.
About the AZEC-DCM International Conference
The AZEC-DCM International Conference was established based on the “Action Plan for the
Next Decade” adopted at the Second AZEC Leaders’ Meeting held in October 2023. The
conference serves as a platform for working-level policy dialogue focused on two key areas
outlined in the plan: (1) strengthening industrial competitiveness through the measuring of
greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across entire supply chains, and (2) promoting high-integrity
carbon markets.
This first conference brought together policy officials and relevant institutions from the energy
and environment sectors of AZEC partner countries. Active discussions and information sharing
took place on: (1) initiatives by national governments and private companies to visualize GHG
emissions, and (2) the development of indicators and methodologies for evaluating GHG
emission reductions.
Asuene will continue to collaborate with governments, financial institutions, and other
stakeholders to contribute to the realization of a decarbonized economy in the Asia region.
