ASUENE Inc. announced that its ESG evaluation cloud service, “ASUENE ESG,” has
surpassed 23,000 corporate users and ranked No.1 in cumulative adoption in Japan for the
second consecutive year, according to a market research report published by Tokyo Shoko
Research, Ltd.. The service also ranked first in cumulative adoption within both the
manufacturing sector (12,000+ companies) and the construction sector (3,000+ companies).
Marking this milestone, ASUENE will expand and rename its supply chain management
service to, “ASUENE SUPPLY CHAIN” on October 1, 2025.
Background: Growing Demand for ESG and Supply Chain Risk Management
Global interest in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) is intensifying. Europe’s
Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and other regulations are
tightening requirements around human rights and social risks throughout supply chains. In
Japan, the government has issued “Guidelines on Respecting Human Rights in Responsible
Supply Chains,” further pressing companies to not only disclose their own sustainability data
but also manage risks across their entire supply chain.
Manufacturers and construction companies, in particular, are facing a surge in requests from
clients to disclose information on human rights, labor conditions, occupational health and
safety, and conflict minerals. However, many companies still face challenges such as not
knowing how to evaluate different solutions or wanting to adopt a proven, reliable service.
In response, ASUENE has made its cumulative adoption figures publicly available to ensure
transparency. As a result, ASUENE ESG has become Japan’s most widely adopted service
for two consecutive years —demonstrating its credibility as the trusted choice for ESG and
supply chain compliance.
No.1 Achievements of “ASUENE ESG”
- No.1 in cumulative adoption nationwide
- No.1 in cumulative adoption in the manufacturing sector
- No.1 in cumulative adoption in the construction sector
Advancing into “ASUENE SUPPLY CHAIN”
Building on its back-to-back No.1 rankings, ASUENE will expand and rename the service as
“ASUENE SUPPLY CHAIN” to further strengthen its supply chain management capabilities.
This advancement will allow companies to centrally manage increasingly complex supply
chain requirements on a single platform.
Future Outlook
Through ASUENE SUPPLY CHAIN, ASUENE aims to create a society where companies
and suppliers collaborate to enhance transparency and trust across entire supply chains. We
will continue to expand platform functionality to respond quickly to evolving international
regulations and stakeholder demands, while strengthening partnerships in Japan and
abroad. Through these efforts, ASUENE seeks to establish sustainable procurement a
global standard.
