Speakers will include the Global Head & Chief Investment Officer and the Managing Director, Investments of Decarbonization Partners, a senior executive from BlackRock, and ASUENE Founder and CEO Kohei Nishiwada. Background
In July 2026, ASUENE raised $87 Million in its Series D funding round, led by Decarbonization Partners, a joint venture between BlackRock and Temasek. The investment marked the first time that Decarbonization Partners had invested in a Japanese startup.
Corporate decarbonisation efforts are moving from emissions measurement and disclosure towards implementation, including emissions reductions across supply chains and the optimisation of energy use. At the same time, the investment landscape for decarbonisation and energy continues to evolve in response to changes in government policies, market conditions, and technological developments worldwide.
